Barcelona offered 24-year-old winger to Arsenal as part of the Aubameyang deal

As we draw near the end of the January transfer window, a report from Independent has emerged that Barcelona enquired whether Ousmane Dembele can be offered as part of their pursuit of former Arsenal captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

The two unwanted commodities of their respective sides are looking for new teams this season, and while Aubameyang has no problem in joining Barcelona, the Catalans are being restricted by the exceeding wage bill due to Ousmane Dembele.

While it’s been mentioned that Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain were in talks for a potential winter transfer, the deal has now collapsed as the Ligue 1 giants have no interest in paying a transfer fee for the player who can anyway be signed on a Bosman deal in the summer.
