Popular Nigerian businessman, Arthur Eze has reclaimed his 11 houses from two of his former workers, who are also his nephews.
Naija News reports that the businessman was able to recover his houses from Olisaebuka Eze and Onyeka Eze with the help of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
A statement released on Monday by EFCC spokesman, Wilson Uwujaren, said the two culprits worked as Administrative and Finance Managers respectively for the businessman.
EFCC said an investigation revealed that the culprits used proceeds of their alleged criminal activities to acquire the properties in different parts of Enugu State.
The anti-graft agency accused the two suspects of criminal breach of trust and diversion of funds belonging to the business mogul.
According to the EFCC, the properties were returned to the business mogul on Friday, January 28, 2022.
“The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Enugu Zonal Command on Friday, January 28, 2022, returned eleven houses recovered in different parts of Enugu to Chief Arthur Eze,” the statement reads.
