A report from Daily Telegraph has claimed that Armando Broja could leave Chelsea in search of regular playing time. Fulham and West Ham United are keen on securing his signature. Meanwhile, Chelsea value the striker at £50 million, and it will be interesting to see if their rivals are prepared to pay the asking price for the 22-year-old.
The Armando Broja Struggles
Broja was regarded as one of the finest young attacking prospects in the Premier League during his loan spell at Southampton. However, the return to Chelsea has not worked out for him. He has only just recovered from a serious knee injury, and he has not managed to hold down a regular starting spot at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea signed Nicolas Jackson to solve their goalscoring problems in the summer. But the 22-year-old has been largely underwhelming. So, Armando Broja could prove to be a useful option for Chelsea during the second half of the campaign. But he is ready to leave Chelsea if he does not receive regular game time.
Fulham, West Ham United Want Armando Broja
Meanwhile, Fulham could use a quality young striker like him as well. They sanctioned the departure of Aleksandar Mitrovic in the summer and have not been able to replace the Serb adequately. Raul Jimenez has been a bit of a hit-and-miss, and he will need to be upgraded in the coming months. Broja has thus emerged as a viable target.
