Officers of the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) have allegedly shot and killed a young boy in the Kubwa area of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) during the third day of the #EndBadGovernance protest.
Reports indicate that the boy was shot at close range near the Zenith Bank area of Kubwa.
An eyewitness claimed the deceased was not part of the protest. “The boy was not part of the protesters; he was just passing by when the police, from a different position, pointed a gun at us,” the witness said.
Activist lawyer Deji Adeyanju condemned the incident, describing it as an unprovoked murder. Adeyanju stated that the boy was merely observing the protest when he was shot.
