Foreign holidays could trigger ANOTHER UK-wide lockdown, experts warn

Letting Britons go on holiday to Europe this summer may trigger another lockdown, the Government’s scientific advisers have warned. 

Boris Johnson has promised his ‘roadmap’ back to normality will end the crippling restrictions ‘once and for all’ in June, as Britain today marks a year since life as we knew it ground to a halt. 

But one SAGE scientist has said trips abroad this summer could ‘jeopardise’ the UK’s hard-won low infection rates amid a spiralling third wave in Europe.
