Kaduna, Abia, Delta lead new COVID-19 cases in Nigeria

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has registered 89 new infections, with Kaduna, Abia and Delta topping the log on Monday.

One COVID-19 related death was recorded on the date while 169 persons were discharged, according to data from the public health body on Tuesday morning.

The 89 fresh cases reported on Monday indicate a decrease from the 125 cases reported the previous day in the country.
