A former Governor of Kano State, Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso, says the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), will not sign the Electoral Act amendment bill because governors have pressured him not to approve the provision for direct primary.
Kwankwaso said this during a chat with The PUNCH ahead of the National Assembly’s recess.
