One person died and 18 others sustained injuries in a lone accident in Osogbo, the Osun State capital, on Monday.
The accident, which involved a commercial bus, occurred along the Osogbo/Gbongan Road, Abere.
It was reportedly caused by speed limit violation and brake failure.
The bus rammed into the median.
An eyewitness, who simply identified himself as Wasiu, said one of the victims was a man returning from a hospital with his son.
