As the 2023 elections draw near, a civil rights organization. Center for Reform and Public Advocacy (CRPA), on Saturday asked the Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Usman Alkali Baba, to arrest Bola Tinubu, presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
POLITICS NIGERIA reports that Tinubu told the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) that his academic certificates were stolen by unknown persons while he was on self exile.
Speaking on the controversy at a press conference in Abuja, Agu Kalu, the Legal Adviser of the CRPA said Tinubu should be behind bars.
Tinubu, a former Lagos State Governor, was one of the National Democratic Coalition (NADECO) chieftains who fled the country under the regime of the late General Sani Abacha.
