BIRNIN KEBBI – The resident electoral commissioner Kebbi state, Mr Ahmed Mahmud has said that no fewer than thirty seven thousand three hundred and seventeen permanent voters cards are yet to be collected in Kebbi state.
The state INEC chief who disclosed this to news men in Birnin Kebbi over the weekend said that people who registered should come forward for their cards “before we used to give permanent voters cards to party agents or village heads for distributions but is no longer the case, we don’t give cards to proxies every registered member must collect his or her physically as there is no cards distributions he said.
According to him PVCs collections is no longer here but registrations are ongoing because the court has ordered us to continue” is not easy doing that but we have to do it up till the time limit set by the court so one can still register.
