The Okuama community in Ughelli South Local Government Area of Delta State has been devastated by fire after the tragic killing of sixteen soldiers.
Alegations suggest that enraged soldiers may have been behind the arson following the loss of their comrades.
Meanwhile, a manhunt for the perpetrators is underway, with some arrests already made by soldiers under the command of Major General Jamal Abdussalam.
Residents have fled to neighboring Ughelli out of fear of reprisal from the patrolling soldiers in the creeks.
