As aggrieved Nigerians launch a nationwide #EndBadGovernance protest, President Bola Tinubu met with the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, on Thursday at the Presidential Villa in Abuja. Wike, dressed in a white suit, arrived at the State House in a Prado SUV around 4 pm to meet with President Tinubu.
While the agenda of the meeting was not disclosed at the time of this report, it is likely related to the ongoing protests in the nation’s capital, some of which have turned violent.
Despite the organizers’ intention for a peaceful protest, violence erupted in certain areas around the seat of power. Additionally, miscreants exploited the situation in some areas, harassing and extorting motorists and passersby, particularly along the Kubwa expressway axis.
