Orji Kalu: Tinubu achieved what Obasanjo and others couldn’t

Abia North Senator, Orji Uzor Kalu, has said no president in the history of Nigeria has implemented the kind of decisions President Bola Tinubu is taking.

Kalu said Tinubu removed subsidy which former President Olusegun Obasanjo failed to do while in office.

He disclosed this on Monday while addressing a gathering at the Arochukwu Local Government country home of Chief Sunday Ugwa and was contained in a statement by his media aide, Kenneth Udeh, in Abuja.

Kalu said Tinubu was right not to have accepted the economic policy prescriptions of the World Bank and International Monetary Fund, IMF.

According to Kalu: “President Tinubu removed subsidy which former President Olusegun Obasanjo refused to do and he merged the exchange rate.
