THE GUARDIAN
The impeachment of Mudashiru Obasa as the Speaker of the Lagos State House has been described as a breath of fresh air by workers within the assembly complex.
Several staff who spoke to The Guardian said they were happy with the development, inviting The Guardian to come to the assembly to see how excited the workers are and the positive and new atmosphere within the assembly complex following the news that Obasa has been impeached.
Many of the staff complained about the highhandedness of Obasa in dealing with the assembly workers including their welfare.
It was gathered that more than two-thirds of the members of the state assembly were on the ground at the legislative chamber to effect the change in leadership among the lawmakers.
