Nigeria’s President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has expressed optimism that Africa possesses the necessary resources for self-development and emphasized that the moment to take action is now.
Naija News reports that the Nigerian President stated this in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (UAE), on Monday, January 13, 2025, during a meeting with his Rwandan counterpart, Paul Kagame.
Both leaders are in Abu Dhabi to participate in Sustainability Week, which is scheduled from January 12 to 18.
Tinubu is anticipated to utilize the summit as a platform to highlight his administration’s reforms, particularly in the areas of energy sufficiency, transportation, public health, and economic development.
In a post on his official X handle, @officialABAT, the Nigerian leader wrote, “This evening, on the eve of Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week, I had meaningful conversations with Rwandan President Paul Kagame.
