Scientists say men should masturbate 21 times a month to boost their health

Men don’t usually need any encouragement when it comes to masturbating.

However, if you’re looking for it, then today is your lucky day, as scientists have said fellas should be masturbating 21 times a month.

Yep, we’re not having you on, they’ve really said that.

According to scientific research published by European Urology, ‘choking the chicken’ on a regular basis helps men cut down on the risk of prostate cancer. It’s not just a slight improvement either, it can cut your risk by up to a third.

And the researchers definitely took their time to found out the revelation.

They surveyed 31,925 men over an 18-year period and kept tabs on how often they were masturbating throughout their lives.

The revelation comes after previous studies suggested that a healthy sex life where you’re climaxing often results in a noticeable drop in cancer rates, however science now seems to have found the magic number.

It’s claimed men should be aiming to have an orgasm, whether through masturbation or other means, at least 21 times a month. Nobody’s saying you shouldn’t have more if you want too, though.

Scientists say they don’t yet know exactly why making masturbation helps reduce the risk of prostate cancer, however according to IFLScience some believe having an orgasm regularly flushes out toxins which could increase the risk of cancer.

The research comes after a study back in 2018 found that men who masturbate more are better lovers.

According to the research released by TENGA, men who pleasure themselves weekly are 10% more confident in their own sexual performance than those who don’t masturbate.

However, another study published earlier this year revealed that some men are ’embarrassed’ to masturbate.
