The “world’s oldest man” who has racked up a whopping 121 years has launched a new career as a celebrity and people are flocking to have selfies with him.
Andrelino Vieira da Silva, from Aparecida de Goiania, Brazil, went viral when he celebrated his 121st birthday on February 3 as his cake was topped with “O terror do INSS” – meaning the terror of the INSS.
Among other things, the INSS, or National Institute of Social Security, deals with pension payments. Brazil’s minister of Labour and Social Security Onyx Lorenzoni then awarded the old-timer with a metal plaque commemorating his 121 years.
