'I got my tongue split to help cope with pain – the sex advantages are a bonus'

A woman has revealed how getting her tongue split helped her cope with her medical condition – and as an added bonus, it has sexual advantages.

Amber Lane, 43, from California, US, is a retired paralegal as she has been considered medically disabled since 2014.

She suffers from a variety of medical conditions, one of which is called Complex Regional Pain Syndrome.

CPRS is a broad term describing excess and prolonged pain and inflammation that follows an injury to an arm or leg and for Amber, it controls her body and is very painful.

Because of this, Amber looks for outlets that give her a sense of control over her body and things that help her cope with her pain levels.

She told the Daily Star in an exclusive chat that this is why she decided to get her tongue split.
