Workers at a recycling facility in Thailand had a rude awakening when they unpacked a shipment of cardboard from the US and found a pair of human legs inside.
Thai police are currently coordinating with authorities in the US due to concerns that the owner might have been murdered prior to being concealed in the container and shipped across the Pacific Ocean. Lieutenant Colonel Dechanut Thayasirichuti of Sriracha Police said the owner of the legs might have been killed, but added any possible murder was not carried out in Thailand.
The gruesome package arrived at a facility near Sriracha, a town located approximately 100 miles south of Bangkok, on Tuesday. As a worker started to unload the stacks of compressed cardboard, he noticed a shin bone protruding from a brown sports shoe with pink laces.
