A teacher allegedly fell pregnant by a teenage boy while on bail for having sex with another pupil, a jury heard.
The trial of Rebecca Joynes, 30, is currently taking place at Manchester Crown Court where she faces six charges of engaging in sexual activity with a child, two of which allegedly took place while she was in a position of trust.
It’s claimed that Joynes groomed her first alleged victim, referred to as Boy A, by buying him a £345 Gucci designer belt and inviting him to her former flat in Salford, Greater Manchester, where they reportedly had sex twice.
Following the allegations, a police investigation was launched and Joynes was suspended from her school. She later told the police that no sexual activity had taken place. She was then released on bail under the condition that she would not have unsupervised contact with anyone under the age of 18
