A security team moved King Charles and Queen Camilla to safety after a mystery person was seen on a rooftop as they talked to locals in St Helier, Jersey earlier this month
King Charles and Queen Camilla were rushed to safety during a visit to Jersey after a mystery person was spotted on a nearby rooftop, sparking a security alert.
The incident was declared a false alarm after the suspect was spoken to by police and a background check was made, allowing the Royal couple to resume their visit.
The incident occurred just hours after a would-be assassin took a shot at Donald Trump, heightening tension and security concerns.
Trump addressed supporters at a party convention, breaking his silence about the assassination attempt and declaring “I shouldn’t be here” as he formally accepted the GOP nomination for a third run at the presidency.
