A woman has taken to Reddit to share her suspicion that her mother-in-law harbours romantic feelings for her husband.
She revealed she had been with her hubby for nine years and that his mother had always made her feel uncomfortable by the way she talks to him and feels about him.
“She comments on ‘how sexy’ of a man he is, she talks about how firm his skin is, his jawbone, she tells me our children look like ‘her and him made babies,” she wrote on the platform.
The woman then revealed an incident that pushed her to her limit. She explained: “Here’s my breaking point today, we are asleep in our bed when we wake up to someone wailing as if they’ve lost a child, or something extremely terrible has happened, when we jump up in the bed it’s her in our doorway, she is sobbing uncontrollably.”
She continued: “He immediately asked her ‘what’s wrong? what’s going on?’ She says ‘I’ve just had a terrible bad day’. Then she goes on to ask him, ‘Can you come lay with me while I hold you and let me smell your hair? ?’ WHAT THE F-! ! ? ? Am I tripping or is this WEIRD AS HELL?”.
The wife later updated her post with additional information about her intrusive mother-in-law. She stated: “EDIT: Should of included this in the post, we do not live with her, but she comes in and out of our home whenever she pleases, I have never liked it nor agreed with it,” reports the Mirror US.
