Police nab IPOB/ESN Terrorist Commander, destroy group’s three camps

Operatives of the Nigeria Police have nabbed a Commander of the Indigenous People of Biafra and Eastern Security Network in Imo State.

So also did the operatives destroy totally the terrorist camps of the IPOB/ESN in Izombie, Atta and Ideato North Areas of Imo State, recovering weapons of various calibre.

According to available information, the nabbed IPOB/ESN Commander in Imo State had made useful confessions.

Part of it was that on June 25, 2021 at about 4am, the kingpin led teams of the Police Tactical Squads of the Intelligence Response Team, Special Tactical Squad, Special Forces, AKU, QIT and other Imo State Police Command Special Teams to the three IPOB camps in Atta, Izombie and Ideato North areas, all in different locations in Imo State.

All the three camps were overran by the Tactical Units after fierce gun battles and several weapons, stolen cars, explosives, gun powders, charms, IPOB/ESN flags, ammunitions, Indian hemp, Tramadol and many other hard drugs were recovered.
