The caretaker committee chairman of Takum Local Government Council in Taraba State, Boyi Manja, has been reportedly abducted by unknown gunmen.
DAILY POST gathered that his orderly was also reportedly killed by the gunmen.
The incident occured Sunday afternoon, along Wukari/Takum road.
Confirming the incident, the leader of Takum Local Government Legislative Council, Pius Bulus Gauva, said “we received the news with rude shock.”
“My caretaker committee chairman has been kidnapped, his police orderly, was also killed during the incident.”
A source from the council who spoke with DAILY POST, said the council chairman was traveling with his driver and orderly when the gunmen struck.
