Paul Okoye appeals to EFCC for Bobrisky’s case on Naira abuse

Talent manager and lover of actress Iyabo Ojo, Paulo Okoye, has urged the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission to have mercy on popular crossdresser, Bobrisky on her conviction for abuse of naira.

Recall that the controversial crossdresser was arrested at Pinnock Estate, Lagos State, on April 3, 2024, at 3 pm, on charges of mutilation and abuse of Naira, Nigeria’s national currency.

Bobrisky was consequently arraigned in court yesterday on a four-count charge of abuse of naira by the EFCC.

The crossdresser pleaded guilty to the four-count charge, and begged court for leniency, vowing to utilize his platform to educate his followers about responsible handing of the naira if she was given a second chance.

However, the judge deferred her judgment to April 9th.

Expressing his thoughts on Instagram, Paulo  noted the implications of Bobrisky’s alleged offense, suggesting that if he found guilty, millions of Nigerians, including himself, might also be implicated.

He appealed to the EFCC for mercy, assuring that such misconduct would not recur.

“If Bobrisky is guilty of Naira abuse you know say over 2m Nigerians will just go to Police Station and report yourselves including me.

Pls EFCC forgive us. Is not going to happen again”.
