The Kano State Fire Service confirmed the death of two persons in a building collapse in Nomansland Faage Local Government Area of the state.
The Public Relations Officer of the Service, Saminu Yusif Abudullahi, mentioned that two people had been rescued and taken to the hospital, while two others sadly did not survive as the rescue efforts continued.
The building collapsed during heavy rainfall on Thursday around 2 am due to waterway overflow, affecting the structure situated near the waterway.
