Omoyele Sowore, a human rights activist and convener of the #RevolutionNow movement, has been ordered by the Department of State Service (DSS) to be arrested upon his arrival in Nigeria.
The directive, issued by DSS Director General Adeola Ajayi, stemmed from Sowore’s role in the recent #EndBadGovernance protests. Sowore, a former presidential candidate of the African Action Congress, criticised the DSS for upgrading his status on its watchlist.
