The Nigerian Federal Government has ordered an investigation into allegations of bribery and corruption within the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS). Minister of Interior, Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, announced the investigation following a leaked audio clip allegedly showing Idris Okuneye discussing his godfather’s bribery and money laundering charges. The minister condemned the alleged behavior and emphasized the zero tolerance for indiscipline and corruption within the paramilitary services.
