Police operatives in Lagos have arrested a 17-year-old house help for allegedly defiling two minors within the age of 5 and 10 years.
This was contained in a statement on Monday by the command’s spokesperson, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, stated that incident occurred on October 10, 2024 at about 1400hrs when the above mentioned case was transferred from Dopemu Police Division to gender unit of the Lagos state Police command, Ikeja.
He said the case was reported by the complainant on behalf of his daughter, 5-year-old and 10-year-old son against one Silas Daniel, 17-year-old, who is a domestic help to the complainant.
The complainant alleged that the said Silas defiled his daughter and his son and that he had sexual intercourse with the two minors in the house of the complainant whenever he was not at home as he left the children in the house.
The complainant stated further that, Silas had sexual intercourse with his son through his anus.
Meanwhile, the alleged suspect has confessed to the crime upon questioning.
