A woman has warned about getting lips tattooed – after revealing the painful side effects to her followers.
Melissa O’Callaghan, took to TikTok to share the results of her lips blush tattoo after seeing just how red and swollen they had become.
In the video, which has given 19,000 views, Melissa initially said: “Come with me to get lip blush” with an image of her natural lips before the treatment.
A lip blush tattoo is a non-invasive, semi-permanent cosmetic tattoo procedure that uses micropigmentation to create the effect of fuller, more plump and defined lips.
The technique has become increasingly popular over the last few years, with many people sharing their results online.
