Prepare yourself for the stomach-churning story of a TV filmmaker who met with a cannibalistic Hindu cult – where he was fed a piece of cooked human brain and had human ashes rubbed on his face.
The CNN presenter, Reza Aslan, even took a sip from a human skull during his horrifying encounter with the Aghori nomadic sect in India, which still feasts on the flesh of the dead, before desperately fleeing the cannibals who became increasing volatile.
“Want to know what a dead guy’s brain tastes like? Charcoal,” said Aslan. “It was burnt to a crisp!”
Things started to take a terrifying turn when the Aghori guru forced a crown made of human bone onto Aslan’s head. Looking extremely uncomfortable, Aslan asks the cult leader: “Why are people on that side of the river so scared of the Aghori?”
