Boko Haram: 87 ISWAP fighters killed in Borno

Reports say 87 Boko Haram fighters have been killed in a reprisal attack launched by the Islamic State of West African Province, ISWAP.

The suspected ISWAP elements, reportedly carried out the reprisal at the camp of the Commander of Boko Haram, Bakoura Modou, in Lake Chad axis on Tuesday night, a source with information about the terrorists told Newsmen on Thursday.

The reprisal attack was coming barely five days after a group of terrorists affiliated to Boko Haram eliminated 24 Islamic State of West Africa Province, ISWAP fighters, at Mandra and Gaba Mountains in Gwoza town, Borno State.

A fight between the two terrorist groups has continued since the former terror leader Abubakar Shekau was killed by ISWAP fighters…
