Kaduna to shut down unlicensed private health schools, hospitals soon

Kaduna State government has expressed concern over the increase in unlicensed private health colleges and hospitals, saying very soon they they will start closing such institutions in the state.

The Commissioner for Health, Dr Amina Baloni, disclosed this while answering questions from newsmen at the One-Day Quarterly Interactive Forum with the theme, “Improving Health Care Delivery Through Basic Health Care Provision Fund Implementation,” supported by Save the Children held in the state.

 She said already the state had started investigating to know the actual number of unlicensed health schools in the state.
