LEADER of the Pan-Yoruba sociocultural organisation, Afenifere, Chief Ayo Adebanjo, has accused the former governor of Osun State, Chief Bisi Akande, of conniving with the All Progressives Congress (APC) national leader, Senator Bola Tinubu, to ‘sell’ the Yoruba race to President Muhammadu Buhari.
Adebanjo, who spoke in an interview on Arise TV, on Tuesday, said the connivance is tilted towards making Tinubu become the country’s president.
Akande, in his recent book, titled ‘My Participation,’ had called out Chief Adebanjo on a number of issues.
Adebanjo, however, disputed Akande’s claim, saying Akade and others are regretting over their choice candidate, Buhari, at the moment despite being forewarned.
Adebanjo recalled signing Akande’s papers to become the governor of Osun State with the condition of a sovereign national conference for the restructuring of the country back to federalism but he reneged.
