The Federal Executive Council has approved a new salary structure for officers and men of the Nigeria Police.
The Minister of Police Affairs, Maigari Dingyadi revealed this to State House Correspondents, at the end of this week’s cabinet meeting chaired by President Buhari.
According to him, a major highlight of the increase is the provision of a 20 percent peculiar allowance for the Police.
