A strange fire has burnt down food items at the popular Potiskum grain Market in Yobe State.
The incident began in the early hours of Friday at about 3:00 am when the firefighters rushed to the scene to put off the fire and got reinforcement from their Nangere counterparts.
One of the shop owners who gave his name as Alhaji Abubuwa told Daily Independent that “I woke up with a phone call that fire has razed down our shops, I rushed and came here to see, I lost hundreds of bags of Maize, Beans, Groundnut, animal feed among others”.
