President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday canceled his scheduled flight to Zamfara state over poor weather conditions.
The development was disclosed by the state governor, Bello Matawalle, saying the president had apologized over the unforeseen circumstance.
President Buhari was earlier scheduled to visit the state for some official activities after commissioning some projects in Sokoto state.
According to the governor, the visit has been rescheduled for next week and the new date would be communicated to the public in due time.
