The corpse of a Police Sergeant allegedly kidnapped on Thursday evening has been discovered at a forest in Ughelli North Local Government.
The victim identified as Sgt. Ifeanyi a.k.a Lion, was attached to the Eagle Net squad and reportedly kidnapped along Aroh Road in Ughelli metropolis, while returning from work.
Confirming the development on Saturday, the PPRO said: “manhunt for the assailants is on. The DPO has mandated a tactical team and we are on their trail.”
