This is the terrifying moment a crane breaking apart and smashing into a high-rise building before crashing to the ground.
The incident took place near Hudson Yard between the 41st street and 10th avenue in Manhattan, New York City.
Twitter user Jimmy shared the video and wrote: “Just watched a crane fall and pummel a building on the other side of the block!”
“Looks like someone is dangling underneath!” he is heard telling a woman.
In the clip, pedestrians can be seen fleeing for their lives and drivers are honking to warn others to avoid the area.
Debris are falling onto the road, hitting the constructions nearby and scattering on the street.
One viewer responded in the commented: “I’m the guy on the Citibike who almost got smushed… that was a weird commute.”
