FUTA postgraduate student breaks new record For longest speech marathon

The 24-year-old postgraduate student of the Federal University of Technology, FUTA, Akure, Christopher Olusa has set a new record of 112 hours 12 minutes for the longest speech marathon.

He broke the records of 90 hours two minutes held by a Nepali, Ananta Ram, from 27th to 31st of August 2018.

Although Christopher Olusa set out to hit 120 hours but could not hit the target.

Christopher started the speech marathon from 2 a.m. local time on Monday 11th of September, 2023 to 6: pm Friday, 15th of September, 2023.
