According to President Bola Tinubu, Nigeria’s security forces are making significant strides in their battle against insecurity in the Northwest region. This positive report was given at the Northwest Peace and Security Summit organized by the North-West Governors’ Forum, where Tinubu, represented by his vice, Kashim Shettima, stressed that the progress achieved is just the beginning.
Tinubu’s remarks come in response to recent successful military operations like Operation Hadin Kai and Operation Safe Haven, which have reportedly dismantled criminal networks, neutralized high-profile terrorists, and strengthened border security.
