JAMB now mandatory for NOUN, other distant learning admission seekers

The Joint Admissions and Matriculations Board (JAMB) has made it mandatory for prospective students of the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) and similar institutions to register through its platform.

Registration with individual National Identification Numbers (NIN) is also required to prevent fraudulent activities.

This decision affects students enrolled in non-regular programs, including distance learning, part-time, and sandwich programs.

To register, candidates must create a profile code by sending their NIN to JAMB’s sort code (55019 or 66019) via their unique phone number. Previous candidates in non-regular programs must also create a profile with their NIN to access JAMB’s services.
