The Ogun Area 1 Command of the Nigeria Customs Service has issued a warning to the public about the potential health risks associated with consuming smuggled frozen poultry products.
In an interview with Mr James Ojo, the Command’s Comptroller, he stated that the World Health Organization (WHO), the Centre for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) have reported that consuming smuggled frozen poultry products can have serious adverse effects on the health of the people.
