The Federal Government has released funds for the payment of withheld salaries of Non-Academic Staff Union of Federal Universities (NASU).
This was disclosed in a statement issued by the Office of the Accountant General of the Federation (OAGF) and signed by its director of public relations, Bawa Mokwa, on Saturday, 2nd of November, 2024.
According to the OAGF, the government claimed that it has also released funds for payment of benefits to retirees under the Nigerian Union of Pensioners Contributory Pension Scheme Sector (NUPCPS).
