PEOPLES GAZETTE
A yet-to-be-identified Nigerian loan organisation has deployed a stolen soundtrack to roll out photos of alleged defaulters in the country.
This development is the latest of several strategies used by various loan organisations in an attempt to recoup loaned money from their customers who default on repayments.
The viral soundtrack, which was posted by SikaOfficial on X and seen by the Gazette on Saturday, displayed facial portraits of several alleged debtors, generating intense criticism from Nigerians.
While many condemned the attempt as grossly overboard and capable of damaging the reputation of defaulters, others described it as a grave breach.
