Tinubu names Abba Aliyu as new MD of Rural Electrification Agency

President Bola Tinubu has disclosed the appointment of Abba Abubakar Aliyu as the substantive Managing Director of the Rural Electrification Agency, REA.

The appointment was contained in a statement made available by Bayo Onanuga, Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, noting that it takes effect from January 23, 2025.

It also added that it is for an initial term of four years.
