Glo lowers call tariff to 22k/s

THE NATION

Mobile network operator (MNO) Globacom yesterday announced a reduction in its call tariff.

The tariff cut came at a time other operators are raising their call tariff in line with the January 50 per cent adjustment to end-user tariff of telecom services by the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC).

Following the NCC approval, the average call per minute stands between N13.80k per minute and N23k per second.

In a Short Message Service (SMS) on its network, Globacom said: “Dear Customer, we have recently adjusted our Tariff to serve you better.

“Your voice call rate has been reduced to 22k/s to all networks, making calls more affordable. Your existing Berekete bonus balance is valid and will expire by 12th March 2025. To check your available Berekete bonus balance, dial *310*2#.  Thank you for choosing Glo.”
