Lagos Assembly crisis: Tinubu holds closed-door meeting with lawmakers

In order to find lasting peace at the Lagos State House of Assembly, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is currently having closed-door meeting with the state Lawmakers.

The meeting, has virtually all 40 members of the Assembly in attendance.

Sources familiar with the meeting disclosed that Mojisola Meranda, the former Speaker of the Assembly, is present at the session.

Meanwhile, Mudashiru Obasa, who was recently reinstated as Speaker, arrived later to join the discussions. The details of the meeting remain undisclosed, but it is believed to be connected to the recent leadership crisis that rocked the Lagos Assembly…
