Former Chelsea forward Diego Costa is in advanced discussions with Wolverhampton Wanderers to make a shocking return to the Premier League on a permanent deal.
Costa became a free agent in January of this year after he terminated his contract with Brazilian club Atlético Mineiro after just six months at the Mineirão stadium.
Meanwhile, renowned transfers journalist, Fabrizio Romano disclosed on Monday that a deal has been agreed in principle.
Costa will reportedly fly to England this week to undergo medical tests at Wolves on Tuesday, and subsequently will put pen to paper in a deal valid until June 2023.
Following a successful spell in Spain with Atletico Madrid, winning the La Liga twice, the Copa del Rey, UEFA Europa League, and the UEFA Super Cup, Costa moved to the Premier League with Chelsea in 2014.
