A Professor of Corporate and Marketing Communications and Applied Rhetoric, Faculty of Communication Arts, University of Uyo, Prof. Peter Esu, has urged politicians to work hard to earn votes legitimately in the 2023 general elections.
Esu made the disclosure during the formal inauguration of Mkpat Enin Unity Network Development at Mkpat Enin LGA on Tuesday.
The Don, who spoke on the topic; ‘The Nigeria Electoral Act, 2022, and the Electorates’, noted that with the new electoral act which has been duly signed into law, ballot box snatchers will no longer have a field day as they used to.
He urged citizens to prepare themselves to participate in the voting process because the electronic transmission of results will allow everybody’s vote to count.
